He graduated with honors from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1973. In 1977 he brought his family to Middletown, where he and his wife raised their three children, Robbie, Amanda and Julie. Webster From Hamilton police reports May 30 Two brothers, ages 23 and 30, of the 900 block of Kahn Avenue, were arrested after the younger brother reportedly tried to hit the other with a car. The older brother told police his brother insulted his mother. Three guns were reported stolen from the home of a 54- year-old woman in the 700 block of Millville Avenue. The woman reported a window had been broken to enter the home and steal a caliber revolver, a 9-millimeter Mauser handgun, and a Winchester 16-gauge shotgun. Signs were posted at Caesar Creek State Park and Cowan Lake State Park about E. coli bacteria in the water that exceeded state standards. Regional park manager Tim Carr told WCPO-TV of Cincinnati that the bacteria can cause headaches, diarrhea, vomiting and dizziness. He received the honor of Kentucky Colonel in 2001. He forever married Lois J. Bowling on Sept.
4, 1954 in Hamilton. Together they moved to Austintown, OH in 1969 until retirement to Fairfield, OH in 1987. He is survived by his wife, son Don, his wife Cindy and their children, Andrew, Alyson and Angela; daughter Sherrie Goodall and her children Kristi (Rob) Huffman and Trevor Goodall; son Phil and his child Zachary as well as four great-grandchildren; Kayla, Chelsea, Drew and Lori Huffman; brother Bobbie (Loretta) Lee; sisters Pauline Acres, Wilma Thomas and Edna Mae (JD) Maples and many other in-laws, family and friends. She was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on October, 16, 1930, the daughter of Victor S. Anderson and Irene (Zabel) Anderson. Following graduation from high school, she attended St. Colleges and Mercy School of Nursing, all in Davenport, Iowa. On August 19, 1950 she married John Baker in Albert Lea.
Before becoming a full-time homemaker, she worked mostly in medical facilities, last as Safety Director and Employee Health Coordinator at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton. Survivors include her husband John of Springdale, sister Marlene Overgaard of Albert Lea, MN, brother Lynn Anderson of Kasson, MN, sister-in-law Joyce Cardi of Upper Arlington, OH, brother-in-law Kent Baker of Rohnert Park, CA plus twelve nephews and nieces and their families. She enjoy gardening, sewing, playing bridge, photography and her Tibetan Terrier dogs. A particular enthusiasm was adult literacy which she taught in both classroom and one-on-one venues. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Albert Lea, MN.
